Why this exists
There is a particular hour that most people meet eventually. It is somewhere between two and four in the morning, you are awake, and nothing is actually wrong. The same job, the same bills, the same conversation you keep rewriting in your head. All of it was a manageable size at noon.
Nobody is awake to tell you it is still a manageable size. That is the whole mechanism. Scale is a social thing, and at three in the morning there is no one to check your scale against.
What we are not going to tell you
We are not going to tell you that a blanket fixes that. It does not. Nothing we make treats, reduces or eases anything, and any company telling you otherwise about a hooded sweatshirt is lying to a person who is awake at three in the morning, which is a genuinely rotten thing to do.
Here is what is true, and it is smaller and more useful. There is a kind of better that comes from weight. From warmth. From having something over the top of you so the room ends somewhere. It will not solve the thing. It gives your hands and your body something to do while you wait for the light, and waiting for the light is, in fact, the move.
So we make objects for the waiting
Five chapters, from the worst hour to the one where it lifts, and an object at the end of each. Something heavy. Something warm to hold. Something to put on when you give up on sleeping and go sit in the kitchen instead.
One pattern runs through all of it, printed edge to edge, so the bands land differently on every piece. Each product page says how long yours takes to reach you.
The last chapter
The fifth chapter is a text message. Six words, sent at a reasonable hour, to someone who will not make it a thing. It is the hardest one and the only one that compounds, and it is the one thing on this site we cannot sell you.
Everything else here is just an object. Objects are allowed to be small.
